THE WILLKASARA FAMILY

The Willkasara Family carries forward ancestral wisdom rooted in the sacred traditions of the Andes. Together, Wachan Bajiyoperak and Martika Gomez share teachings that honor humanity's relationship with Mother Earth through ceremony, sacred sound, prayer, and ancient Indigenous practices passed down through generations.

Wachan, born and raised in Cusco, Peru, comes from a lineage of Inka and pre-Inka medicine keepers, while Martika, is a descendant of the Kogi people of Colombia. She is devoted to preserving the teachings of harmony, reciprocity, and connection with the natural world. Together, they travel internationally, offering ceremonies, retreats, and immersive experiences that invite participants into deeper relationship with themselves, the Earth, and the wisdom of their ancestors.

At Butterfly Mountain, the Willkasara Family regularly gathers our community for sacred medicine circles and ceremonial experiences rooted in reverence, healing, and remembrance. We are honored to welcome them back to the mountain season after season.
